Beau just needs a place to call home. This beautiful orange boy was adopted as a kitten approximately five years ago. Though he thought he'd found his Forever Family, for unknown reasons the family decided to surrender Beau to a shelter. Alone and declawed, Beau's fate was uncertain.

Eventually his caregiver sprung him from the shelter and brought him to her house. While at first he was fearful and displayed some aggression to people and other cats, he has mellowed and has not displayed any aggression for years. Beau has spent his days mostly living outdoors, only coming inside to eat (though he does prefer to stay close to home). He keeps to himself, but has learned to trust again – on his terms.

Beau would do best with an experienced cat parent, one who will understand that he needs time and patience in order to feel fully at home with his Forever Human. Moving forward we want Beau to be an indoor cat as he is declawed and has a history of scraps.
Beau deserves a chance to gain confidence, thrive, and be adored. Can you give that to him?
